The other issue with typos is trademark infringement. Companies (especially those with deep pockets) have started going after typosquatters.
Back in 2006-2007, there was this company called Domibot (also known as Unasi, DomainCar, etc.) that was registering typos left and right. Domibot was using three registrars to automatically register these typos.
Microsoft noticed this and started keeping track. Ultimately, however, it was
Yahoo! and Dell that brought down Domibot and the three "bad" registrars.
IMHO, it's not worth it. The money that you earn from parking these typo domains probably won't even be enough to pay for the legal fees, in case the trademark holder of your typo domain sues you. My two cents.
